Awaji Earrings Black

These mixed-matched earrings feature an asymmetric, dangling design which have been delicately weaved into a unique knotted mess. 

The inspiration comes from a Japanese artform called "Mizuhiki" which is a type of decorative cord used for tying the paper that is wrapped around small gifts or envelopes. They are traditionally gifted at celebrations or important occasions as a symbol of affection or togetherness. 

"Awaji-musubi" is a variation of knot that is difficult to loosen. As such, the knot in our Awaji Earring symbolises connection, stable relationships and good luck to the wearer. 

The longest earring sits just above your collar bone, making it a flattering statement piece. Can be easily styled for almost any occasion.
